About
Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Specialization in Psychology and Minor in Sociology from Western University. She then attended the University of Toronto where she completed a Masters of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Rachel is registered and in good standing with the College of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of Ontario and is committed to ongoing professional development.
Her additional training includes orofacial myofunctional therapy foundations, the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile, supported conversation for adults with aphasia, Introduction to PROMPT, Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, and clinical short courses in cognitive-communication disorders.
Rachel has worked with both adults and paediatrics and has experience in hospital, rehabilitation and private practice settings. Her therapy approach is collaborative, friendly, evidence-based and family-centred. She aims to make sessions engaging and tailored to each client’s individual goals.
